One of the first things I did was figure out a way to eat soy sauce. Its only been recently that I've started to enjoy it, so I was crushed when I was forced to go LoSo and lose my soy sauce.
Well, here's a nice low sodium dupe that is always in my fridge. Great for marinades, my sad version of stir fry, and all things ramen. Yes, this has potassium chloride, thanks to the Herb Ox. You can sub other beef broth granules but adjust sodium count accordingly. This recipe contains 0mg sodium.
Ingredients
2 Herb Ox no sodium beef bullion packets
3/4 cup water
2 tsp molasses
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/8 tsp Ground ginger
a sprinkle of garlic powder.
Directions
Bring everything to boil in a sauce pan until reduced.
Once cooled, put in airtight container and refrigerate.
