Hummus is one of those foods that I never understood why it was so high in sodium. Not that it's as high as some of the commercially produced food, but definitely room for improvement and so easy to make. Since it's oil free, its very lowfat.
Just 375 mg for the entire batch.

1 15oz can no salt added garbanzo beans
1 roasted red pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
